The Poet: Angie
Hi my name is Angie. I was born June 30th 1985 in Ravenna OH. I started showing a writing talent when I was about nine years old, I was impressing my teacher with my journal entries. It seemed like I could express myself better in writing than I could in anything else.
I started writing poetry when I was thirteen, it was usually about boys, or things in nature like snow. Snow was one of my favorite subjects. From age thirteen to twenty is when I wrote the most of my poetry. I still write every now and then. I’m currently twenty-two years old and most of the angst of adolescence is gone and replaced by the responsibilities of adulthood, but I still try to take the time out to write because its a big release.
