Sometimes I wonder
How life would be
If I were not here
where I have come to be
If I had not done
The things that I did
If I could change time
Go back to a kid
I think of the people
I would never have met
the problems and times
that I would never regret
But then I realize
that there would only be
other problems and people
and I would not be me.
I try to smile but it will not come
I try to laugh but instead I cry
I hope for love but all all I get is pain
I want to be happy, but I cannot be all the same.
I need to feel loved
Not forgotten
Someday I hope to find peace
Someday I will find me.
Life always continues on,
we sometimes think it will soon be over,
but life is like the globe
it will just keep spinning all year around,
so much to live for in this amazing world,
so much to do and see,
that you would never believe,
so much great people to meet,
and such limited time to spend,
money comes from education,
or else you’ll live in debt,
education comes from smart decisions,
that got you this far.
A little reminder for myself, to keep me going on. .
